Lucy, Purebred Collie Needs a Happy Home

By October 29, 2014Blog

Meet Lucy – she’s a gorgeous purebred rough collie.  She lived in a happy home for all 8 years of her life but her elderly owner moved to a location where he wasn’t able to take her.  She is currently residing at the Kitchener Waterloo Humane Society hoping the next person who walks in will continue to love her for the rest of her life.

She answers to the following names:

  1. Lucy
  2. Lucyfur
  3. Benbrae Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (she may not answer to this one as frequently – it’s her birth name)

She is considered a senior dog and will thrive best in a country home without children or other pets.  Contact the KWHS if you’re the right human for her.

Beautiful dog. I just lost my collie dog to liver disease. I would LOVE to have another collie. I’m in California. Is it a possibility?

      Hello Ann,

Sorry to hear about your loss. I too have lost collies although they live on in their descendants in my home. I have sent you an email with more information, California may be too far away for Lucy. Thank you for your interest.
